Description:
Do you have a passion for motorcycles and an ability to work across all areas of a busy franchise workshop? We're looking for a skilled Motorcycle Technician to join our team, working on varying brands of motorcycles and specialising in our Honda franchise. Our aftersales delivers first class servicing, diagnostics and bike preparation at our Yeovil Honda dealership.
Hours: 40 hours per week Tuesday - Saturday
What you will be doing:
Undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on motorcycles of all types to the highest standard within the scheduled times
Carry out work completely and effectively within manufacturers' servicing and repair times and those set by your manager.
Test, diagnose faults and repair vehicles as and when requested by your manager or supervisory staff.
Advise and report on vehicle and parts faults and servicing requirements noticed while working on vehicles, including future servicing repair requirements.
Look for ways to identify future customer costs savings by recommending preventative maintenance and appropriate vehicle expenditure.
The role also requires for new and used bike preparation and PDI completions.

Excellent time management skills
Apprenticeship certification or City & Guilds qualification or other adequate qualifications an advantage.
Experience/knowledge of diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs of motorcycles.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
You will be required to hold a full motorcycle licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
